![]() ![]() The program version numbers for the server and client programs do not match. The multiplayer session has been terminated. The iPad connects to the Mac without a problem, then the session ends with the following error message: I'm attempting to get the Mac to host a multiplayer game through a direct TCP/IP connection. Two days ago, I purchsed BG:EE for iPad from the iOS App Store and BG:EE for the Mac from Beamdog. I've searched the forum and all relevant threads appear to be at least a month old, so thought I'd post a bug report. This problem seems to have more to do with the Mac version of Baldur's Gate: EE than anything else. Incidentally, SC UniPad editor has also proved quite useful in editing UTF8 tra files for BGEE, since it doesn't lose special characters when saving in this format (unlike Crimson Editor which has been known to do that), and supports input and visual output in multiple national charsets. My apologies if I've put this thread in the wrong place. *I'm guessing Mac Format (CR only) options should also work, but Unix option has been confirmed in practice to work on Macs, so I'd stick with it. > Line Separators combo box -> Unix (LF)* In SC UniPad: Use menu command File -> File Properties. ![]() ![]() In Crimson Editor: Use menu command Document -> File format -> Unix Format (LF only)* In ConTEXT: Use menu command Tools -> Convert text to. Kulyok, I'll mail you the fixed file in a bit, but I'd rather provide instructions so you can check and fix such cases in future without my help. I can't check for sure without having access to a mac myself. Looks like it might be caused by an extra line break symbol the shell interpreter does not recognize, so I guess it's important. ![]()
